Resolution 09785CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 9785 APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1982-1983 WHEREAS, there has been submitted to and filed with this Council a tentative budget representing a financial plan for conducting the affairs of the City of Alameda for the fiscal year 1982-1983, said budget being entitled "City of Alameda -- Proposed Budget, 1982-1983," and being filed with the City Clerk of the City of Alameda on June 15, 1982; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda has fully examined said tentative budget and thereby finds that said tentative financial plan is in the best interests of the City of Alameda; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Council hereby adopts and approves said Tentative Budget, subject to final adoption and approval not later than the third Tuesday in September, 1982, as required by Section 17-4 of the Charter of the City of Alameda. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of the City of Alameda and the Finance Director of said City are hereby authorized and directed to follow the precepts of the said Tentative Budget in the interim period prior to adoption and approval of the final budget for the fiscal year 1982-1983 by this Council. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of June, 1982, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 4. NOES: Councilman Gorman - 1. ABSENT: None, IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official seal of said City this 16th day of June, 1982.
