APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 3963 FOR DIVISION OF
PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN ALAMEDA MARINA VILLAGE, EAST
OF THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY,
ACCEPTING CERTAIN EASEMENTS AND PERMITTING RECORDING
THEREOF (ALAMEDA MARINA VILLAGE ASSOCIATES, SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, Alameda Marina Village Associates, a California
general partnership, owner and subdivider herein, by Vintage
Properties--Alameda Commercial, a California corporation, a
general partner, has presented to the Council for approval a
Parcel Map for the division of property located within Alameda
Marina Village, east of the Southern Pacific Railroad right-
of-way and known as Parcel Map No. 3963; and
WHEREAS, said Parcel Map delineates thereon an easement
for public access over, under, in and upon the areas designated
"Access Easement" (A.E.) and an easement for public utilities
over, under, in and upon the areas designated "Public Utilities
Easement" (PUE), dedicated to the City of Alameda;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, Parcel Map No. 3963, heretofore accepted and
conditionally approved by the Planning Board, is hereby approved
and permission given to subdivider to record same, based upon
the findings and subject to the ccnditions in City of Alameda
Planning Board Resolution No. 1333, passed on May 9, 1983; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the "Access Easement" and
the 'Public Utilities Easement" dedicated to the City of Alameda
are hereby accepted on behalf of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 11-
3112(f) of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council finds
Parcel Map No. 3963 is consistent with the City's General Plan,
and pursuant to Section 11-3112(h) determines that discharge
of waste from the subdivision into the sewer system will not
violate regional water quality control regulations.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th of May 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT:None.
