A RESOLUTION ORDERING CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS TO
WORK FOR HARBOR BAY BUSINESS PARK ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT 81-1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Ala,eda,
County of Alameda, California, that
WHEREAS, on January 19, 1982, this Council adopted Resolu-
tion No. 9673, A Resolution of Intention to Make Acquisitions
and Improvements;
WHEREAS, the owners of the assessment parcels hereinafter
referred to by assessor's parcel numbers have duly filed written
requests for making of all or the portion of the changes and
modifications hereinafter ordered which pertain to and/or affect
said parcels, respectively;
WHEREAS, the changes and modifications hereinafter ordered
will not increase the total amount of the assessment or the amount
of any individual assessment nor eliminate or add any acquisitions
or work which will substantially and adversely alter or affect
the benefits to be derived from the work and acquisitions;
WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience and necessity
require the changes and modifications hereinafter ordered;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that changes and modifications
be made in the acquisitions and improvements to be made as set
forth in Exhibit 'A" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
I, the undersianed, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the
Council of the City of Alameda, in regular meeting assembed on
the 20th day of September, 1983, by the following vote, to wit:

NOES, Councilmembers: None,

General Description of Work
The construction of the following improvements (all distances and
measurements are approximate only)
1. The construction for widening of street improvements,
including clearing, grading, subbase, base, pavement, curbs
and gutters and driveways; sidewalks, storm drainage
facilities, street lights and electrical distribution
facilities, monuments and relocation of facilities and all
other necessary improvements and appurtenances in Harbor Bay
Parkway from the intersection of Doolittle Drive southerly to
and including the intersection of Maitland Drive, a distance
of approximately 6,000 feet with a right-of-way width varying
from 88 feet to 108 feet, two travelled ways of 32 feet and a
bicycle path 8 feet in width along the westerly side of said
street.
2. The construction of a storm drain located along the northerly
boundary line of Harbor Bay Business Park Assessment District
81 -1 and extending 500 feet westerly along the northerly
boundary line of Assessors Parcel No 74-1040-4-5 for an
approximate length of 1,600 feet, including storm drain pipe
varying in size, manholes, headwalls, grading and ditching
and all appurtenances to construct an operative storm drain
system.
3. The installation of erosion control and landscaping located
within the District and adjacent to the northerly line of
Harbor Bay Business Park Assessment District 81 -1, including
planting of trees, shrubs, ground cover, irrigation systems,
controls and appurtenances to provide fully functional
erosion control and landscaped areas.
4. The acquisition of all lands, easements, permits and licenses
and construction of all auxiliary work necessary to complete
the above described improvements.
The foregoing improvements shall be constructed in accordance with
all applicable rules, regulations, standards and specifications
established by the appropriate public entity or regulated public
utility which, upon completion of said improvements and acceptance
thereof, will own, operate and maintain such improvements.
