\\\\\ WHEREAS, funding for this project should come from the
Tidelands Trust Fund;
CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10209
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE
ON THE OPEN MARKET FOR GRADING WORK AT THE DOOLITTLE
DISPOSAL SITE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR SAID WORK
WHEREAS, the Alameda County Health Care Services has advised
the City that fencing must be provided to secure the southern
perimeter of the Doolittle Disposal Site and has directed that
eroded areas be graded to prevent exposure of covered garbage;
and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the grading of the
Disposal Site can be accomplished at a savings to the City by
negotiation on the open market; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Section 3-15 of the City Charter
the Public Works Director is hereby authorized to negotiate on
the open market for grading eroding areas at the Doolittle Disposal
Site; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $10,000 is hereby
appropriated from the Tidelands Trust Fund for the cost of said
grading work.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing resolutio
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 15th
November, 1983, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President
Diament - 5.
NOES None.
