Resolution 10245CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10245 AUTHORIZING EMERGENCY EXPENDITURE OF TIDELANDS TRUST FUNDS TO REPAIR AND REPLACE SEAWALL AND BERM AT SEAL POINT COURT WHEREAS, it has been determined that it was necessary to repair seawall damage and construct a berm around the northerly end of Seal Point Court caused by the severe winter storm of December 3, 1983, and said damages were of an emergency nature; and WHEREAS, it was possible to secure the services of Bashnick Engineering and Paving Co. of Oakland as the most practical and expeditious method to perform the work; and WHEREAS, funding the amount of $15,000 is available from the Tidelands Trust Fund and the City has included a request for this amount in its application to the Federal Emergency Management Act for storm damage from the December 3 storm; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Section 3 -15 of the City Charter said emergency public works improvements and expenditures in the amount of $15,000 of Tidelands Trust Funds for the repair and replacement of the seawall and berm at Seal Point Court is hereby authorized and approved. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st of February, 1984, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas and President Diament - 4.
