AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF
ALAMEDA AND ALAMEDA FOOD BANK FOR SUBLEASE OF A
PORTION OF MASTICK SENIOR CENTER COMPLEX
WHEREAS, Alameda Emergency Food, a non--profit corporation,
desires to sublease from the City a portion of the Mastick Senior
Center Complex for the operation of its food bank program; and
WHEREAS, the Alameda Unified School District has consented
to said sublease; and
WHEREAS, a form of agreement containing the covenants,
terms and condition to be entered into is on file in the office
of the City Clerk and the Council is informed of the contents
thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that said Agreement
be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the agreement referred to above, and the terms,
conditions and covenants contained therein be, and the same are
hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he
is hereby authorized to execute, for and on behalf of the City
of Alameda, that certain proposed Agreement with Alameda
Emergency Food for the sublease of a certain portion of the Mastick
Senior Center Complex, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of March, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 4.
NOES: Councilmember Gorman - 1.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
