APPROVING AMENDED SALARY - CLASSIFICATION /BENEFIT
RESOLUTION FOR UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the following Position classifications, salary rates, salary
ranges and salary steps, benefits and agreements, attached hereto
as Exhibit "A ", are hereby designated as those applicable to the
respective classifications in the service of the City of Alameda,
effective January 1, 1984.

SALARY-CLASSIFICATION BENEFIT RESOLUTION
UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES
Effective 1-1-84
For all management and confidential positions in the City the following,
shall apply:
The City shall pay into the Public Employees Retirement
System the employees' seven percent (7%) Public Employees
Retirement System contribution and for Police and Fire
1082 Pension Plan members, the City shall pay 7% of the
employee's retirement contribution. For the Police 1079
pension member, the City shall pay the employee 4% retire-
ment contribution and adjust the salary by 3%.
Cafeteria Plan benefit of $250.00 per month.
The City and the employees agree to implement Blue Cross
Option Line 100 medical insurance plan at such time as
the City receives agreement from all bargaining units
in the City that they also agree in the implementation
of the Option Line 100 plan.
The City is considering offering the employees of the City
an additional HMO medical plan during the term of this
agreement. Should the City implement an additional HMO
plan the employees in this group will be eligible to
enroll as are all other employees of the City.
Salary survey to be conducted for all positions by
The City Manager may request special adjustments or withhold
increases for members of the executive management group.
Existing agreements continue in effect with any and all
fringe benefits such as holidays, vacation, sick leave,
administrative leave and retirement.

was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th of March, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
