ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR MINOR STREET
PATCHING WITH ASPHALT CONCRETE AND FOP INSTALLATION
OF HOUSE LATERALS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE
30, 1985, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK
TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications,
Special Provisions and Plans for MINOR STREET PATCHING WITH
ASPHALT CONCRETE for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1985, numbered
P.W. 5-84-12 and filed with the City Clerk on May 15, 1984; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications,
Special Provisions and Plans for the INSTALLATION OF HOUSE
LATERIALS for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1985, numbered
P.W. 5-84-14 and filed with the City Clerk on May 15, 1984;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said Specifications, numbered and filed as afore-
said be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council cf the City of
Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 2:00 o'clock
p.m. on TUESDAY, JUNE 5, 1984, in accordance with said Specifi-
cations and Provisions individually prepared therefor. Bids must
be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, in Alameda,
California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside
with the designation of the fiscal year work to which said bid
applies.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the pro-
visions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible
bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City
-q EL Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the
Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling fcr sealed bids, in
accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said
specifications and plans.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of May, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Hanna, Monsef and President Diament - 3.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmembers Gorman and Lucas.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official
