DESIGNATING THE DR. EDITH MEYERS CENTER AS AN
ALAMEDA HISTORICAL MONUMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that,
upon the recommendation of the Alameda Historical Advisory
Commission, said Council hereby designates the DR. EDITH MEYERS
CENTER as an "Alameda Historical Monument."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the list of Historical Monuments
shall read:
*1. Alameda City Hall
2. Alameda Theater
*3. Historic Alameda High School
*4. St. Joseph's Basilica
*5. Sanctuary Building of the First Presbyterian Church
6. First Church of Christ, Scientist
7. The Old Post Office Building, 2417 Center Avenue
8. First Congregational Church of Alameda
9. Croll Building
10. Old Masonic Hall
11. Second Empire Residence at 2233 Santa Clara Avenue
*12. Union Iron Works Turbine Machine Shop Building
*13. Union Iron Works Power House
14. American Red Cross Building at 2017 Central Avenue
15. Lincoln Park
16. Alameda Free Library
17. Veterans Memorian Building
18. Dr. Edith Meyers Center
*On National Register of Historic Places
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in a Regular Adjourned Council Meeting assembled
on the 26th day of June, 1984, by the followihg vote to wit:
