APPOINTING CITY OF ALAMEDA COUNCILMEMBER KARIN LUCAS
TO THE COUNTY-WIDE TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda
by its Resolution No. R-84-391 adopted on April 17, 1984, created
a County--wide Transportation Committee: and
WHEREAS, each of the fourteen cities in Alameda County
shall appoint one elected official to said Committee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that Councilmember KARIN LUCAS be, and she is hereby,
appointed as a member of the County-Wide Transportation Committee
to represent the City of Alameda.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this
resolution be forwarded to Alameda County Supervisor Joseph P. Bort,
Temporary Chairman and Convener of the County-Wide Transportation
Committee.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th of July, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
