APPROVING CITY -WIDE TRANSPORTATION AND TRANSIT STUDY
WHEREAS, a proposal to develop a comprehensive Transporta-
tion Plan for the City of Alameda has been submitted to this
Council by JHK & Associates and the Council is fully informed
and aware of the scope and nature of said proposal; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Alameda that said proposal be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to pursue preparation of a comprehensive transportation study
and plan for the City as proposed by JHK & Associates with the
cost to be shared between the City and affected private entities.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $35,300 is hereby
appropriated from the Parking Meter Fund to cover the City's
portion of the cost of this study.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th of July, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Monsef and President Diament - 3.
NOES: Councilmembers Hanna and Lucas - 2.
ABSENT: None.
