AWARDING CONTRACT PACIFIC MECHANICAL FOR GOLF
COURSE STORM PUMP STATION AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Golf Course Storm Pump
Station and Drainage Improvements in accordance with
Specifications No. P.W. 3-85-7 approved June 18, 1985; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Pacific Mechanical agreeing to perform said work in
accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $185,971.00;
and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Pacific Mechanical is hereby accepted,
the contract for Golf Course Storm Pump Station and Drainage
Improvements is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is
hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said
contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th of July, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
