APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 4564 FOR DIVISION OF PROPERTY
WITHIN ALAMEDA MARINA VILLAGE, ACCEPTING CERTAIN
DEDICATED EASEMENTS AND FINDING SAID PARCEL MAP
CONSISTENT WITH CITY'S GENERAL PLAN (ALAMEDA MARINA
VILLAGE ASSOCIATES, SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, Alameda Marina Village Associates, a California
Limited Partnership, and Alameda Marina Center Associates, a
California Limited Partnership, owners and subdividers, have
submitted to the Council for approval a Parcel Map for subdivision
of property within Alameda Marina Village, being a division of Lot
2, Parcel Map 3963, Lot 1 of Parcel Map 155, and Tract 30, located
between the drive-in theater, Southern Pacific Transportation
Company right-of-way and the northerly portion of Marina Village
Parkway, and known as Parcel Map No. 4564; and
WHEREAS, said Parcel Map delineates thereon certain
streets, designated as Marina Village Parkway, Challenger Drive and
Atlantic Avenue, dedicated to the public for the uses and purposes
of public streets, and a certain public utility easement,
designated "Public Utilities Easement" dedicated to the City of
Alameda;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, Parcel Map No 4564, heretofore accepted and
conditionally approved by the Planning Board, is hereby approved
and permission given to subdivider to record same, subject to the
conditions listed in City of Alameda Planning Board Resolution No
1522 adopted August 12, 1985, and subject to the following
conditions:
(1) The Parcel Map shall not be recorded until the owner
has entered into an agreement with the City and posted a
set-aside letter for faithful performance.
(2) The slope easement termination date shall be extended.
(3) The Subdivider shall provide documentation from Alameda
Belt Line for approval of roadway construction and dedication of
the right-or-way prior to construction of Atlantic Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said streets dedicated to the
public are hereby accepted on behalf of the public for use in
conformity with the terms of the offer of dedication, and the
public utilities easement dedicated to the City of Alameda is
hereby accepted on behalf of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section
11-3112(f) of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council finds
Parcel Map No. 4564 is consistent with the City's General Plan.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of August, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counciimembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
