CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10729
AUTHORIZING OPEN MARKET PURCHASE OF A TRAFFIC
CONTROLLER FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the City is calling for bids for traffic signal
modification at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue/Marshall Way
and Fifth Street; and
WHEREAS, in order to insure compatibility with existing
City backup and testing equipment, a specific Traffic Controller
is recommended for this project; and
WHEREAS, funds for this project are included in the
1985-86 Capital Improvement budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 3-15 of the City Charter
the Public Works Director and the Purchasing Agent are hereby
authorized to negotiate and purchase the required Traffic
Controller on the open market.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th of September, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
