A RESOLUTION ORDERING CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
ALAMEDA MARINA VILLAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84-3
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Alameda, California that
WHEREAS, on August 21, 1984, this Council adopted Resolution No.
10421, A Resolution of Intention to Make Acquisitions and Improvements;
WHEREAS, the owners of the assessment parcels within said assessment
district have duly filed written requests for making of all of the changes
and modifications hereinafter ordered which pertain to and /or affect said
parcels, respectively;
WHEREAS, the changes and modifications hereinafter ordered will not
increase the total amount of the assessment or the amount of any individual
assessment nor eliminate or add any acquisitions or work which will
substantially and adversely alter or affect the benefits to be derived from
the work and acquisitions;
WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience and necessity require the
changes and modifications hereinafter ordered;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That changes and modifications be made in the improvements that
the following improvements be acquired upon their completion to the
satisfaction of action of the Director of Public Works of the City of
Alameda:
a) Waterfront pedestrian access improvements, approximately 300 feet
in length, along the shoreline, between the terminus approximately 550 feet
southeasterly of the most northerly corner of Assessor's Parcel No. 074-
1334- 004 -00, acquired under Phase 1, and a point approximately 200 feet
north of the northerly line of Assessor's Parcel No. 074 - 1334- 002 -00.
b) Landscaping improvements in the general northwesterly half of
Marina Park.
c) A Sanitary Sewer Lift Station near the westerly line of Assessor's
Parcel No. 074 - 2334 - 006 -00, approximately 600 feet northerly of the most
southwesterly corner thereof, including collection mains along said line
between said lift station and Tynan Avenue and Marina Village Parkway,
respectively, and replacing 1,000 lineal feet of sanitary sewer lying
adjacent to the easterly extension of Tynan Avenue.
2. That payment for said completed improvements shall be made
therefor only upon the submission of documentation sufficient to assure the
Director of Public Works and the Director of Financing of the City of
Alameda that all the costs of said improvements and all claims therefor have
been paid or otherwise satisfied and that the work of said improvements in
all respects complies with applicable standards of said City.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of March, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
