APPROVING TENTATIVE MAP FOR TRACT 4495, A SUBDIVISION
OF APPROXIMATELY 19.3 ACRES ON BAY FARM ISLAND,
FINDING SAID TENTATIVE MAP CONSISTENT WITH THE CITY'S
GENERAL PLAN AND DETERMINING THAT DISCHARGE OF WASTE
WATER INTO SEWER SYSTEM WILL NOT VIOLATE REGIONAL
WATER QUALITY CONTROL REGULATIONS (DORIC DEVELOPMENT
INC., SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, Doric Development, Inc., a California
corporation, subdivider herein, has presented to the Council for
approval a Tentative Map for Tract 4495, a subdivision of
approximately 19.3 acres of land bounded on the north by
Mecartney Road at Aughinbaugh Way on Bay Farm Island and commonly
known as Ratto Farms; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on March 4, 1986, held a
public hearing on said Tentative Map;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 11 -3112 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, the Tentative Map for Tract 4495, heretofore
accepted and approved by the Planning Board on January 27, 1986,
is hereby approved, based upon the findings and subject to the
conditions contained in City of Alameda Planning Board Resolution
No. 1574, and the following additional conditions:
1. Provide a turn - around feature, to the satisfaction of
the City Engineer, at the north end of street "G ", north end of
street "N" and at the south end of street "I ".
2. Provide emergency access to Mecartney Road from the
north end of streets "J" and "H ".
3. Provide a connection between streets "D" and "E" or a
turn - around at the south end of street "E ".
4. Provide a through connection or a turn - around at the
west end of street "C ".
5. Guest or supplemental parking spaces provided within
the subdivision shall not be rented for any purpose.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section
11- 3112(f) of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council hereby
finds the Tentative Map for Tract 4495 is consistent with the
City's General Plan, and pursuant to Section 11- 3112(h)
determines that discharge of waste from the subdivision into the
sewer system will not violate regional water quality control
regulations.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of March, 1986,.
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Hanna, Lucas and President Diament - 3.
NOES: Councilmembers. Corica and Monsef - 2.
ABSENT: None.
