AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH
ITALO A. CALPESTRI III, ARCHITECT, FOR IMPROVEMENTS
AT LINCOLN AND FRANKLIN PARKS
WHEREAS, it has become necessary that the City develop
plans and specifications for Lincoln Park Restroom Facilities and
the replacement of Restrooms and Recreational Activities Building
and Redesign of the Children's Plan Area at Franklin Park; and
WHEREAS, these projects have previously been approved in
the City Capital Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, the consultant's fee for developing accurate cost
estimates, technical specifications, bid documents, and providing
project supervision for these specific projects, as negotiated with
Italo A. Calpestri III, is follows:

(a) Lincoln Park Restroom Facilities $10,600
(b) Franklin Park Improvements 15,000
Total $25,600
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Alameda
that an agreement be entered into with Italo A. Calpestri III for
professional services in developing said plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the proposal of Italo A. Calpestri III is hereby
accepted and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for, and on behalf of, the City an agreement with Italo A.
Calpestri III for professional services relating to the above
improvements at Lincoln and Franklin Park, at a total fee of
$25,600. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby if« that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of May, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
