AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THEODORE OSMUNDSON &
ASSOCIATES, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS, FOR IMPROVEMENTS AT UPPER
AND LOWER WASHINGTON PARK
WHEREAS, it has become necessary that the City develop
plans and specifications for development for retaining wall to
stabilize the bank between Upper and Lower Washington Park; and
WHEREAS, this project has been previously approved in he
City Capital Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, the consultant's fee for developing accurate cost
estimates, technical specifications, bid documents, and providing
project supervision for his Project, as negotiated with Theodore
Osmundson & Associates is $9710, to be funded by the Dwelling Unit
Tax; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Alameda
that an agreement be entered into with Theodore Osmundson &
Associates for professional services in developing said plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the proposal of Theodore Osmundson & Associates is
hereby accepted and the City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for, and on behalf of, the City an agreement
with Theodore Osmundson & Associates for professional services
relating to the development of the Washington Park Retaining Wall at
a cost of $9710 to be funded by the Dwelling Unit Tax. The City
Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.'
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of May, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
