ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC PARK
PURPOSES FROM HARBOR BAY ISLE ASSOCIATES
(PARCEL 3 OF PARCEL MAP NO. 4507, IN FRONT OF
FEDERAL HOME LOAN BANK)
WHEREAS, a certain easement is proposed to be granted
by HARBOR BAY ISLE ASSOCIATES to the City of Alameda for Parcel 3
of Parcel Map No. 4507, containing one acre of land for public
park purposes, and located adjacent to and southeast of the
easternmost intersection of South Loop Road and Harbor Bay
Parkway, in front of the Federal Home Loan Bank; and
WHEREAS, said Parcel 3 was not dedicated to the City
of Alameda at the time Parcel Map 4507 was recorded on February
13, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the public park includes a landscaped water
feature and will be maintained under the Maintenance Assessment
District; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City that
said Easement be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that the aforementioned Easement from Harbor Bay
Isle Associates to the City of Alameda for public park purposes
is hereby accepted on behalf of the City of Alameda, and said
Council, acting for and on behalf of said City, hereby consents
to the recordation of said Easement and orders this resolution to
-be attached thereto, as required by Section 27281 of the
Government Code of the State of California.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the
24th of June, 1986, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Hanna - 1.
