AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATION OF FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS
FROM THE GENERAL FUND FOR A SAN FRANCISCO BAY
CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION PERMIT
APPLICATION RELATING TO THE SEAWALL ADJACENT TO
BAYVIEW ESTATES
WHEREAS, emergency restoration of the public shoreline in
the vicinity of 2802 - 3018 Bayview Drive, following severe
winter storm damage in 1982-1983 and 1983-1984, was performed
prior to obtaining required governmental approval; and
WHEREAS, the City and Bayview Estates Homeowners
Association, as joint applicants, are applying for a B.C.D.C.
permit application for approval of the beach restoration; and
WHEREAS, one hundred dollars of the six hundred dollar
application fee has been paid by the Homeowners Association; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined to be in the best
interests of the City that the City pay the remainder of the
application fee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the sum of $500.00 is hereby appropriated from
the General Fund for payment of the remainder of the application
fee for B.C.D.C. Permit Application No. 85-65 relating to the
seawall and beach restoration adjacent to Bayview Estates.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st of October, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament -
NOES: done.
ABSENT: None.
