APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 4949 FOR DIVISION OF
PROPERTY IN ALAMEDA MARINA VILLAGE AND ACCEPTING
CERTAIN DEDICATED LANDS AND EASEMENTS

WHEREAS, Alameda Marina Village Associates, a California
limited partnership, has presented to the Council for approval a
Parcel Map for subdivision of property within Alameda Marina
Village, being a division of a portion of Lot 1, Parcel Map No
4600, , a portion of Lot 1, Parcel Map No 4611 and Lots 4 and 5,
Parcel Map No 4564, said property being bounded on the north by
Independence Drive and on the south by Alameda Belt Line and
known as Parcel Map No. 4949; and
WHEREAS, said Parcel Map delineates thereon:
(1) Public utilities easements designated "Public Utility
Easement ", dedicated to the City of Alameda;
(2) An easement for pedestrian and vehicular access
designated "Pacific Marina Access ", dedicated to the City of
Alameda;
(3) Revocable easements for pedestrian and vehicular
access over the areas designated "Independence Drive to Atlantic
Avenue Access" and "Temporary Access to Sherman Street ",
dedicated to the City of Alameda, and
(4) Independence Drive, Atlantic Avenue and additional
lands for widening of Challenger Drive, dedicated to the public
for the uses and purposes of a public street pursuant to the City
Cooperation Agreement of December 18, 1984;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 11 -319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, Parcel Map No 4949, heretofore accepted and
conditionally approved by the Planning Board, is hereby approved
and permission given to subdivider to record same, based on the
findings and subject to all conditions listed in City of Alameda
Planning Board Resolution No 1695 adopted on February 9, 1987,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the public utilities
easements and revocable easements for access dedicated to the
City of Alameda, and the lands dedicated to the public, are
hereby accepted, on behalf of the City and the public, for use in
conformity with the terms of the offers of dedication.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section
11- 3112(f) of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council finds
Parcel Map No. 4949 is consistent with the City's General Plan.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 3rd of March, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas and
President Diament - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Vice Mayor Monsef - 1.
