AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH PETER N.
DELANOY, BETTYE J. DELANOY AND GLENN W. BLACKMORE,
DBA TOYS, RELATING TO EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS
INVOLVING PROPERTY AT 2305 CENTRAL AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City has filed an action in eminent domain
against Peter N. Delanoy and Bettye J. Delanoy for property at
2305 Central Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Delanoys have agreed to a lease of said
property to Glenn W. Blackmore, dba Toys, until such time as the
City takes possession of said property, and
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement between the City of
Alameda, Peter N. Delanoy and Bettye J. Delanoy, and Glenn W.
Blackmore, dba Toys, setting out provisions for surrendering the
property in the eminent domain proceeding has been submitted to
this Council; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Alameda that said agreement be entered into,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda,
that certain agreement referred to above by and between the City
of Alameda, Peter N. Delanoy and Bettye J. Delanoy, and Glenn W.
Blackmore, dba Toys. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest
to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 17th day of March, 1987
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Hanna, Lucas, Monsef
and President Diament 4
NOES: Councjamember Corica - 1
ABSENT: None
