ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND CALLING FOR BIDS FOR
MARINA VILLAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84 -3, INDEPENDENCE DRIVE
AND ATLANTIC AVENUE STREET IMPROVEMENTS, P.W. NO. 4 -87 -9,
AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, specifications and plans have been prepared for Marina
Village Assessment District 84 -3, Independence Drive and Atlantic Avenue
Street Improvements, numbered P.W. 4 -87 -9 and filed in the office of the
City Clerk on April 28, 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I.T RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that said Specifications be, and the same are, hereby approved and
adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda
will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 2:00 o'clock p.m. on TUESDAY,
MAY 19, 1987, for furnishing to the City of Alameda all labor, materials,
machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred
to, in accordance with said Specifications and Plans. Bids must be
presented to the City and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Marina Village Assessment District 84 -3, Independence Drive and Atlantic
Avenue Street Improvements," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions
of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who
submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or
all bids.
