DESIGNATING AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE TO EXECUTE CLEAN
WATER ACT GRANT DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS, the City has been offered over $5 million dollars in grant
from the Federal Clean Water Act Program and from the State Water Resources
Control Board for correcting leaking sewers which allow infiltration and inflow
during wet weather periods; and
WHEREAS, the State Water Resources Control Board staff requires that an
representative be designated to sign and file any agreements or other documents
necessary to secure and receive the grant on behalf of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda
that the City Council designates the City Manager to execute grant documents
for the Clean Water Act Program and State Water Resources Control Board Grant.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 19th of May, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Monsef, Thomas and
Mayor Corica - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None(Vacant Office).
