ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR 3-YEAR TOWING
CONTRACT OF PRIVATE VEHICLES, MSP 6-87-1, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Specifications and Provisions for furnishing to the City of
Alameda proposals for the towing of private vehicles within the
City of Alameda for a three year period, No. MSP 6-87-1, filed
in the office of the City Clerk on June 2, 1987, be, and the same
are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock
a.m. on THURSDAY,JUNE 18, 1987, for furnishing to the City of
said proposals for towing of private vehicles within the City.
Proposals must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall,
Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outside, "Proposal for the Towing of Vehicles," or similar
designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the
provisions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the
responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The
right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the
Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in
accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said
Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 2nd of June, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
