AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH SALLY
SWANSON AND ASSOCIATES FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
FOR CITY HALL RENOVATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, on September 16, 1986, this Council authorized
staff to apply for an Historic Preservation Grant to structurally
rehabilitate City Hall; and
WHEREAS, on December 5, 1986, a request for Statement of
Qualifications was sent out to thirty -five architectural firms;
and
WHEREAS, on January 14, 1987, twenty proposals in
response were received.
WHEREAS, after evaluation of the proposals by a selection
committee, the firm of Sally Swanson and Associates was selected,
on the basis of its experience and lower overall price, for
architectural services for the City Hall renovation project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the City Manager and the City Clerk be, and each
hereby is, authorized and directed to execute and to attest to,
respectively, on behalf of the City, an agreement with Sally
Swanson and Associates, for architectural services for the City
Hall Renovation Project.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 21st of July, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:

Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
