AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FROM THE
NARCOTIC ASSET SEIZURE FUND FOR THE RENTAL
OF FOUR (4) TELEPHONE PAGERS
WHEREAS, there is $408,524.00 in the Police Department
Asset Seizure Account; and
WHEREAS, said funds are for the purpose of enhancing the
capability of local police departments to combat drug related
crime; and
WHEREAS, effective
on effective communication
WHEREAS, telephonic
enforcement personnel would
telephone pagers; and
anti-narcotic operations are dependent

Bell would be $174.00 per unit per year of $696.00 annually; and
WHEREAS, the City
budget cycle, it would be

NOW, THEREFORE, BE
of Alameda that the sum of
the Narcotic Asset Seizure
telephone pagers,
of Alameda is operating in a two year
in the best interest of the City to
time at a one time cost of $1,392.00;
IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
$1,392.00 is hereby appropriated from
Fund for the rental of four (4)
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 6th of October, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
