AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE ALAMEDA UNIFIED
SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR WOODSTOCK CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER WINDOW
REPLACEMENT AND TODDLER FUNDING FOR FY 1907-88
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is a participant in the Community
Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) authorized under the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the City's Statement of Community Development Objectives calls
for programs to increase the availability of child care services for
low- and moderate-income families; and
WHEREAS, the Woodstock Child Development Center, operated by the Alameda
Unified School DinCrlct, provides said services within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has allocated $23,000 in FY 1987-88 CDBG funds
for Window Relacement and $82.000 in FY 1987-88 and prior years UDAG
Loan Repayment Funds for Toddler Funding;
N8W, 7D8DEF0RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda
that the City Manager be and hereby is authorized to execute, and the
City Clerk to attest on behalf of the City, a Grant Agreement with the
Alameda Unified School District for FY 1987-88.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 20th of October, 1987,

and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
