Resolution 11390CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11390 SUPPORTING THE USE OF PUBLIC FACILITIES WITHIN ALAMEDA AS POLLING PLACES AND REQUESTING STAFF TO COOPERATE FULLY WITH ANY SUCH REQUEST WHEREAS, the Alameda County Board of Supervisors adopted resolution R-87-927 on December 22, 1987, requesting each city in the County to adopt a policy supporting the use of public facilities as polling places and requesting each city's staff to cooperate fully with any such request; and WHEREAS, Alameda has traditionally provided public facilities for use as polling places, specifically City Hall and Recreation Centers; and WHEREAS, staff cooperation has been excellent. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that said Council hereby supports the use of public facilities within Alameda as polling places and requests staff to continue to cooperate fully with any such request. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd of February, 1988, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Haugner, Thomas and President Corica - 3.
