APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 5274 FOR DIVISION OF
PROPERTY IN HARBOR BAY BUSINESS PARK, PERMITTING
RECORDING THEREOF, AND ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEDICATED
EASEMENTS
WHEREAS, Harbor Bay Isle Associates, a general
partnership, has presented to the Council for approval Parcel Map
No 5274 which consists of thirty six parcels within Harbor Bay
Business Park, being a division of Parcel 2, Parcel Map No. 4728
and resubdivision of portions of Parcels 3, 4, and 5, Parcel Map
4497, recorded May 19, 1972, Reel 3136, Image 427, Series No.
72- 67048, Alameda County Records, Alameda, California; and
WHEREAS, said Parcel Map delineates thereon certain
non - exclusive easements for storm drains, sanitary sewers, public
utilities and their appurtenances designated Easement "A" and
Storm Drainage Easement (S.D.E.), dedicated to public, and
certain rights of access over Easement "A" for operation of
public safety vehicles and emergency equipment, dedicated to the
City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, on March 5, 1975, the City Council certified
that the final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for Harbor Bay
Isle had been completed in compliance with California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and state guidelines; and
WHEREAS, on April 2, 1980, the City Council determined
that the existing final EIR as supplemented by the Combined Land
Use Plan and the City's General Plan is adequate to cover the
revised ultimate project description of Harbor Bay Isle
development with special reference to Tract 4500, and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby certifies that it has
reviewed and considered the information contained in the EIR
and the Environmental Determination made in 1980.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 11- 1319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, Parcel Map No 5274, heretofore accepted and
conditionally approved by the Planning Board, is hereby approved
and permission given to subdivider to record same, based upon the
findings and subject to the conditions set forth in City of
Alameda Planning Board Resolution No. 1818 passed on February 8,
1988.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Parcels 35 and 36, to be
dedicated to the City of Alameda for public street purposes prior
to recordation of the map, are hereby accepted, on behalf of the
City, for use in conformity with the terms of the offers of
dedication.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the non-exclusive easements
dedicated to the public and rights of access dedicated to the
City of Alameda are hereby accepted, on behalf of the public and
the City, for use in conformity with the terms of the offers of
dedication.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section
11-3112(f) of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council finds
Parcel Map No. 5274 is consistent with the City's General Plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that developer is to file a Final
Map dedicating Parcel T, Block 7, as public land within three
C months time.

the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 16th of February, 1988,

ABSENT: None.
