Re: Sharing County Oversight Costs Associated with EMS
Responsibilities
Dear Mr. DalCielo:
Pursuant to our conversation this morning, this will confirm
that we have agreed to share the County's monthly oversight costs
on an equal basis. Those costs have been identified in paragraph
eight (8) of the agreement executed on Feb. 21, 1987 between the
County, the City and the Hospital. Procedurally I propose that
the City pay the County directly and invoice the Hospital for its
share. We will need to negotiate with the County any further
monthly compensation after July 1, 1988 which will be based upon
documented experience.
Your signature below will serve as agreement to equally
share in monthly costs associated with the County Emergency
Medical Service District's oversight of the EMT -1A Optional Skill
Defibrillation program and the Trauma Triage pre - hospital care
services provided by the City and Hospital.
Please execute and return this letter agreement to my
attention as soon as possible. Upon receipt it will be agendized
for Council approval on March 1, 1988.
