CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11415
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH BARRIE
COATE, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT, TO PREPARE STREET
TREE INVENTORY AND MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, on April 28, 1987, the Alameda City Council
directed staff to solicit proposals from landscape architects
who specialize in the preparation of street tree master plans in
order to create a Street Tree Master Plan for the City; and
WHEREAS, proposals have been received and the three firms
whose capabilities most closely matched the needs of the City
were interviewed; and
WHEREAS, after evaluation of the proposals and the
interviews, the firm of Barrie Coate, Landscape Architect,
was selected as the best choice for the City and the proposal was
the least expensive; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Alameda that said agreement be entered into.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Interim City Manager and the City Clerk be,
and each hereby is, authorized and directed to execute and to
attest to, respectively, on behalf of the City, an agreement with
Barrie Coate, Landscape Architect, to prepare Street Tree
Inventory and Master Plan.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 1st of March, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef and
President Corica - 4.
NOES: Vice Mayor Thomas - 1.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and
