CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11444
AUTHORIZING ADOPTION OF REVISED PLAN FOR MODI-
FICATION OF RESTROOM FACILITY DESIGN AT LINCOLN
PARK AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE DWELLING
UNIT TAX ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, at the Alameda City Council meeting of March 15,
1988, a use permit appeal was reviewed that had been filed by
two property owners in opposition to a restroom facility project
proposed to be constructed in Lincoln Park; and
WHEREAS, said property owners were concerned that noise
emanating from restrooms, planned to be located only three feet
from the owners property line would be an unnecessary
disturbance; and
WHEREAS, a modified design was endorsed by the property
owners who had initially filed the project appeal and was
approved by the Recreation Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that said Council hereby authorizes adoption of the
revised plan for modification of the restroom facility design at
Lincoln park which has been reviewed and approved by the
Recreation Commission.
4c BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that the sum of $14,643 is hereby appropriated from the
' Dwelling Unit Tax account to provide additional funding necessary
to complete said project.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 5th of April, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Thomas, Monsef, Camicia, Haugner
and President Corica.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
