ESTABLISHING FIRE DEPARTMENT EMERGENCY AMBULANCE
TRANSPORT FEES
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda established a
Basic Life Support Emergency Ambulance Transport Program on
November 15, 1983 by Resolution No. 10408; and
WHEREAS, due to ambulance fee increases and Medicare and
Medical paying a lower rate than anticipated, the ambulance
program revenue is inadequate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the following schedule of fees and allowable
charges are hereby adopted as those to be charged for Alameda
Fire Department Emergency Ambulance Transport:
ALAMEDA FIRE DEPARTMENT AMBULANCE FEES
Basic - $144.00
Emergency - 26.00
Mileage - per mile - 7.00
Oxygen - 24.00
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 5th of April, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Thomas, Monsef, Camicia, Haugner
and President Corica.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
