AUTHORIZING INTER -FUND LOANS FROM WORKERS
COMPENSATION FUND TO FUND DOOLITTLE LANDFILL
SITE PROJECT
WHEREAS, on March 15, 1988, the City Council approved
Resolution No. 11426 authorizing the open market purchase of
gas emission control equipment for $130,000 for the Doolittle
Landfill Site; and
WHEREAS, on April 19, 1988, the City Council approved
Resolution No. 11449 awarding a contract in the amount of
$138,350.68 for the Doolittle Landfill Gas Management System;
and
WHEREAS, the staff reports submitted with the above
legislation listed the funding source for these expenditures as
inter -fund loans from the Workers Compensation Reserve Fund which
would be repaid from existing garbage rate surcharges by July
1992.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that said Council hereby authorizes an inter -fund loan
from the Workers Compensation Reserve Fund to the Capital
Improvement Fund in the amount of $268,350.68 to fund the
Doolittle Landfill Site Project.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 17th of May, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers- Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
