CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11503
AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF FUNDS FOR TELEPHONE
CONDUIT INSTALLATION ON SHORE LINE DRIVE, NO.
P.W. 5-88-8
WHEREAS, on June 21, 1988, the Alameda City Council
approved awarding a contract to Triple S Electric, Co. for
Telephone Conduit Installation on Shore Line Drive; and
WHEREAS, said conduit is to be placed behind the south
(beach) side of the curb of Shore Line Drive and will provide the
necessary ductwork for installation of public pay phones at four
locations on Park Street, Willow Street, Grand Street, and Shell
Gate Road; and
WHEREAS, the funding source identified for this project
was savings in the 1987-88 General Fund Budget under the
telephone utility and Public Works Department salary accounts;
and
WHEREAS, to utilize said savings it is necessary that
the funds be transfered into a Capital Improvement Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Alameda hereby authorizes a transfer of funds from the
General Fund 1987-88 Public Works Department Budget in the amount
of $18,600 to a Capital Improvement Fund for Telephone Conduit
Installation on Shore Line Drive.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 5th of July, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
