AMENDING THE COMBINED LAND USE PLAN OF THE GENERAL
PLAN OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA BY AMENDING THE LAND
USE PLAN MAP DESIGNATION FROM GENERAL COMMERCIAL TO
SPECIAL SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL FOR THE PROPERTIES
LOCATED AT 1323, 1327, 1331, 1339, 1341 (A, B & C),
1345, 1349, 1351, 1353, 1355 AND 1357 PARK AVENUE
AND 2414, 2415, 2416, 2417, 2418, 2419, 2420 AND
2421 MARTI RAE COURT
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 9105, adopted July 3,
1979, the City adopted as its Combined Land Use Plan that certain
document entitled "Combined Land Use Plan - Land Use, Open Space
and Circulation - Alameda, California - Proposed September 1977"
with revision entitled "City of Alameda - Combined Land Use Plan
- Land Use, Open Space and Circulation - Revised by the Planning
Board February, 1979." in accordance with Sections 65302 and
following of the Government Code of California; and
WHEREAS, there has been prepared an amendment to said
Combined Land Use Plan to amend the Proposed Land Use Map
designation for the properties located at 1323, 1327, 1331, 1339,
1341 (a, b & c), 1345, 1349, 1351, 1353, 1355 and 1357 Park
Avenue and 2414, 2415, 2416, 2417, 2418, 2419, 2420 and 2421
Marti Rae Court from General Commercial to Special Single Family,
the same having been considered by the Planning Board, which duly
noticed and held public hearings thereon, and which, on October
10, 1988„ approved said amendment, GPA-88-1, by Resolution
#1901, and recommended adoption thereof by the City; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Board approved Negative Declaration
IS-88-15 pursuant to Sections 15070 through 10574 of the
Guidelines for the Implementation of CEQA and, following a public
hearing on the matter and examination of pertinent maps, drawings
and documents, determined that there would be no impact on the
environment from the proposed amendment as set forth in its
Resolution No. 1900 adopted on September 26, 1988; and
WHEREAS, on November 1, 1988, the Council considered
Negative Declaration IS-88-15 and held a public hearing on the
questions of whether the amendment to the Combined Land Use Plan
conforms to general law and whether its adoption would be in the
public interest, heard testimony and took other evidence thereon,
following which said Council considered the matter and was fully
advised in the premises;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of
of Alameda that pursuant to Sections 15070 through 15074
Guidelines for the Implementation of CEQA, said Council
recognizes the adequacy of Negative Declaration IS-88-15

certifies that said Negative Declaration has been completed in
compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act and
State guidelines;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City's Combined Land Use
Plan be and hereby is amended by amending the proposed Land Use
Plan map designation for the properties at 1323, 1327, 1331,
1339, 1341 (a, b & c), 1345, 1349, 1351, 1353, 1355 and 1357 Park
Avenue and 2414, 2415, 2416, 2417, 2418, 2419, 2420 and 2421
Marti Rae Court from General Commercial to Special Single Family.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the lst of November, 1988,
