APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 5434 FOR DIVISION OF
PROPERTY IN ALAMEDA MARINA VILLAGE AND PERMITTING
RECORDING THEREOF
WHEREAS, Alameda Real Estate Investments, a California
limited partnership, has presented to the Council for approval
Parcel Map No 5434 which consists of five parcels within
Alameda Marina Village bounded on the west by the Southern
Pacific Transportation Company right -of -way, on the north and
east by Marina Village Parkway, and on the south by the Marina
Village Shopping Center, and being a division of Lots 1 and 2 of
Parcel Map 4744, recorded in Parcel Map Book 161, at pages 81 -85,
and Lot 1 of Parcel Map 3963, recorded in Parcel Map Book 141, at
pages 20 -23, Alameda County Records, Alameda, California; and
WHEREAS, said Parcel Map delineates thereon additional
lands along the west end of Lot 3 dedicated to the public for the
uses and purposes of public streets pursuant to the City
Cooperation Agreement of December 18, 1984; and
WHEREAS, on October 2, 1984, the City Council certified
that the final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) had been
completed in compliance with California Environmental Quality Act
(CEQA) and state guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby certifies that it has
reviewed and considered the information contained in the EIR.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 11- 1319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, Parcel Map No 5434, heretofore accepted and
conditionally approved by the Planning Board, is hereby approved
and permission given to subdivider to record same, based upon the
findings and subject to the conditions set forth in City of
Alameda Planning Board Resolution No 1910 passed on November
14, 1988.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the additional lands along
the west end of Lot 3 dedicated to the public are hereby
accepted, on behalf of the public, for use in conformity with the
terms of the offers of dedication.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section
11- 3112(f) of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council finds
Parcel Map No. 5434 is consistent with the City's General Plan.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 20th of December, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counci1members Arnerich, Camicia, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
