AMENDING MASTER FEE RESOLUTION NO. 12191
BY AMENDING FIRE DEPARTMENT EMERGENCY
AMBULANCE TRANSPORT FEES
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda established
a Basic Life Support Emergency Ambulance Transport Program on
November 15, 1983 by Resolution No. 10408; and
WHEREAS, additional funding is necessary to pay for
replacement ambulances, and defibrillators; and
WHEREAS, existing revenue do not cover the actual cost of
the ambulance service; and
WHEREAS, existing rates are less than those of the County
or the amounts payable by insurance companies;
NOW, THEREFOPE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the following schedule of fees and allowable
charges are hereby adopted as those to be charged for Alameda Fire‹
Department Emergency Ambulance Transport:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Ambulance Transport fees
are hereby subject to annual administrative adjustments based on
the rates in other jurisdictions and not to exceed the rates
payable by insurance companies.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all fees established by
Resolution which are inconsistent with the fees established by this
Resolution are hereby repealed.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th day of
September , 1992, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Lucas, Roth and
President Withrow - 4.
NOES: Councilmember Camicia - 1.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
