Resolution 12344CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 12344 AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR 1993-94 TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA) FUNDS FOR PEDESTRIAN/BICYCLE PROJECTS WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) has allocated funds for Transportation Development Act (TDA), Article 3, Pedestrian/Bicycle Projects for the fiscal year 1993-94; and WHEREAS, the City of Alameda wishes to apply to the MTC for the funding of two projects: $75,000 for funding a bike connection from the lanes on Doolittle Drive to the new Bay Farm Island bike bridge, and $48,000 for the construction of wheelchair ramps at various locations; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Alameda authorize the filing of applications with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for allocation of Transpor- tation Development Act funds for fiscal year 1993-94 for the project described above, and authorize the Public Works Director to execute any necessary documents.
