AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR 1993-94 TRANSPORTATION
DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA) FUNDS FOR PEDESTRIAN/BICYCLE PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC)
has allocated funds for Transportation Development Act (TDA),
Article 3, Pedestrian/Bicycle Projects for the fiscal year 1993-94;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda wishes to apply to the MTC
for the funding of two projects: $75,000 for funding a bike
connection from the lanes on Doolittle Drive to the new Bay Farm
Island bike bridge, and $48,000 for the construction of wheelchair
ramps at various locations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Alameda authorize the filing of applications with the
Metropolitan Transportation Commission for allocation of Transpor-
tation Development Act funds for fiscal year 1993-94 for the
project described above, and authorize the Public Works Director to
execute any necessary documents.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of
November , 1992, by the following vote to wit:
