AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH
SPORTS RESTAURANT, INC. FOR EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO
SELL FOOD AND BEVERAGE AT THE
CHUCK CORICA GOLF COMPLEX
WHEREAS, the Chuck Corica Golf Complex restaurant
concessionaire contract to provide food and beverage service
expires on October 31, 1995; and
WHEREAS, there are no remaining operator options years
available; and
WHEREAS, on June 7, 1995 a Request for Proposal (RFP) was
developed and reviewed by the Golf Commission; and
WHEREAS, on July 3, 1995 the City Council authorized the
advertisement of the restaurant concessionaire proposals; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that Sports Restaurant,
Inc., would best meet the requirements of the Chuck Corica Golf
Complex; and
WHEREAS, Sports Restaurant, Inc., represents that they
are capable and willing to perform as Concessionaire of the Chuck
Corica Golf Complex.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Alameda that said City Council authorize the City Manager
to execute a five year, two month contract, effective November 1,
1995, with a five year option to be exercised at the discretion of
Sports Restaurant, Inc., (d /b /a Legends and Heros Sports Bar and
Grill), to provide the exclusive food and beverage service at the
Chuck Corica Golf Complex.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Alameda that the City of Alameda and Sports Restaurant, Inc., by
mutual consent, may renew said contract for two additional five
year periods.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of
September , 1995, by the following vote to wit:
