Resolution 13509CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 13509 AUTHORIZING DEPOSIT OF BOND PROCEEDS IN THE LOCAL AGENCY INVESTMENT FUND WHEREAS, Pursuant to Chaptcr 730 of the statutes of 1976 Section 16429.1 was added to the California Government Code to create a Local Agency Investment Fund in the State Treasury for the deposit of money of a local agency for purposes of investment by the State Treasurer; and WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby find that the deposit and withdrawal of proceeds from bonds, notes, certificates of participation, or other forms of indebtedness (proceeds) in the Local Agency Investment Fund in accordance with the provisions of Government Code Section 16429.1 is in the best interest of City of Alameda CFD #4 and the holders of the City of Alameda CFD #4 indebtedness. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Directors does hereby authorize the deposit and withdrawal of City of Alameda CFD #4 proceeds in the Local Agency Investment Fund in the State Treasury in accordance with the provisions of Government Code Section 16429.1 for the purpose of investment as stated therein, and verification by the State Treasurer's Office of all banking infoiniation provided in that regard. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following trustee or fiscal agent of the City of Alameda CFD #4, shall be the authorized to order the deposit or withdrawal of monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund: Union Bank of California, until the District notifies the Local Agency Investment Fund in writing of any change in the trustee or fiscal agent. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 16th day of July, 2002, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, DeWitt, Johnson, Kerr and Mayor Appezzato - 5.
