APPOINTING MICHAEL J. SCHMITZ AS A MEMBER OF THE
CITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
(MEMBER -AT- LARGE)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that pursuant to Section 2-
14.2 of the Alameda Municipal Code and Resolution No. 12149, and upon nomination of the Mayor,
MICHAEL J. SCHMITZ is hereby appointed to the office of Member -At -Large Member of the
Economic Development Commission of the City of Alameda, commencing September 7, 2004 and
expiring on August, 31, 2008 and to serve until his successor is appointed and qualified.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 7th day of September, 2004, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, Gilmore, Kerr, Matarrese,
and Mayor Johnson - 5.
