APPOINTING MICHAEL K. RICH AS A MEMBER OF THE
CITY CIVIL SERVICE BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that pursuant to the provisions of
Article X of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomination of the Mayor, MICHAEL K.
RICH is hereby appointed to the office of member of the Civil Service Board of the City of Alameda
for the term commencing on October 19, 2004 and expiring on June 30, 2008, and to serve until his
successor is appointed and qualified.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 19th day of October, 2004, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Daysog, Gilmore, Kerr, Matarrese
and Mayor Johnson 5.
NOES: None.
