ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FCE FURNISHING ANT INSTALLING A TURBINE PUN? FOR 555
NI-Pa WELL AT THE NEW MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Pro-
visions and Plans for furnishing and installing a turbine sumo for the new well
at the Nev Municipal Golf Course, numbered PW 10-55-22 and filed in the offie
of the City Clerk on October 18, 1955;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and
filed as aforesaid, be., and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work
specified in said Specifications end Provisions be, and the same is hereby
authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 805 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, Novomber 1, 1955, for
the furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equip-
ment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said
Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hall Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outside, "Proposal for Furnishing and Installing Turbine Pump for New Well at
New Municipal. Half Course", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded. will be awarded subject to the Provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best bid, The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day. of October, 1955, by the
