ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR. FURNISHING TO THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA ONE NEW TRACTOR FOR GOLF COURSE PURPOSES,
CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIE CITY CF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda one new tractor for Golf
Course purposes, No. MS 4-56-8, filed in the office of tho City Clerk on April
17, 1956, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will re-
ceive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'olock P. M. on Tuesday, May 1, 1956,
for the furnishing to the City of said tractor, in accordance with said Speci-
fications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
Rail, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for Tractor for Golf Course", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of
the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of
this resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of April, 1956, by the following
vote, to wit:
