WHEREAS, the City. Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provis-
ions and Plans for the sonstruotion of a road and parklng lot to serve the New'
Municipal Golf Course, numbered k'44 3-57-9 and filed. ir the office of the City
Clerk on March 19, 1957;
Now THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OP TGE CiTqf GF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid Specifications, Special. Provisohs and Plans, numbered. and filed. as
aforesaid, be, anA thG same are 44 "'r approved anG adopted.
BESOT:PEW, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work
specified in. said Specifications and provisions be, and the same is hereby. author-
ized.
PESOIHR FURTHER, that the (44 of the City of Alameda will receive
seale44 . bids up to the hour of 7:35 o,clock p, m. on Tuesday, April 2, 1957 for
furnishing to the City. of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment
necessary for the work hkreinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifica-
tions and Provisions. Bids must be presented 444 41 City Clmrk in the City Hall,
Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, ftHroposal
for Construction of a Road and Parking Lpt to Serve the New Municipal 0plf Course",
for similnr designstion.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded "114 r' to the provisions of the
Charter of the City. of Alameda, to.tne responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and 14't bid. The right is reservedto reject any or all bids.
Said specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the, City Hall, Alameda,
California,
The City Clerk is hereby direoted to advertise, in the 1414 14 Times-Star
a nntioe calling for sealed bids, in 44 4.0 with the provisions of this •
resolution and of said Specificationw and Provisions.
