RESOLUTION NO. 97-65
ACCEPTING THE PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR THE
ALAMEDA POINT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ("APIP");
DIRECTING PREPARATION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN;
AND AUTHORIZING TRANSMITTAL OF INFORMATION TO
AFFECTED TAXING AGENCIES AND OFFICIALS
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 9685, adopted on December 9,'
1996, the Planning Board of the City of Alameda selected and
designated the boundaries of the project area for the Alameda Point
Improvement Project (the "Project"), approved a Preliminary Plan to
the Community Improvement Commission of the City of Alameda (the
"Commission").
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Community
Improvement Commission of the City of Alameda that:
Section 1. The Preliminary Plan for the Alameda Point
Improvement Project, as formulated and adopted by the Planning
Board of the City of Alameda, is hereby accepted by the Commission,
and the Commission hereby directs preparation of an official
redevelopment plan for the Project.
Section 2. The Executive Director of the Commission is
hereby authorized and directed to file the information required by
Sections 33327 and 33328 of the California Health and Safety Code
with the appropriate taxing officials and the State Board of
Equalization.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify tha the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the
Community Improvement Commission of the City of Alameda in special
meeting assembled on the 7th day of January , 1997, by the
following vote to wit:
