RADIO STATION TRANSMITTER ON 155.61 MEGACYCLES

CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing one (1) main radio station transmitter an 155.61
megacycles to the City of Alameda, for the Police Department, No, MS 12-49-14,
filed in the office of the City Clerk on December 13, 1949, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted,
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed ,bids up to the hour of 9:05 o'clock P. M., on Tuesday, January 3, 1950, for
the furnishing to the City of one (1) main radio station transmitter on 155.61
megacycIee, in accordance with said Specifications and Previsions, Bids must be
presented to the City Clerk, in the City Eall, Alameda, California, under sealed
cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for In radio station trans-
mitter on 155.61 megacycles," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, tc the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right Is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and. regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting asseMbled on the 13th day of December, 1949, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson, Jones, Osborn and President Branseheid,
NOES: None,
ABSENT: Councilman Sweeney, (1).
