CITYOFALAMEDARESOLUTIONNO.14774 AUTHORIZETHECITYMANAGERTOEXECUTETHEPROGRAM SUPPLEMENTANDMASTERAGREEMENTSWITHCALTRANSFORTHE SAFEROUTESTOSCHOOLPROJECTONGRANDSTREETAT.WOOD MIDDLESCHOOL WHEREAS,theLegislatureoftheStateofCaliforniahasenactedlegislation bywhichcertainStatefundsaremadeavailableforuseonlocaltransportation relatedprojectsforpublicentitiesqualifiedtoactasrecipientsofthesestatefunds; and WHEREAS,theProgramSupplementAgreement(PSA)isintended-forSafe RoutetoSchool(SR2S)ProgramfundedwithState-onlyfunding;and WHEREAS,thePSAallowsreimbursementoftheeligibleSR2Sproject expenditurestotheCityofAlamedaforwhichStatefundsareallocated;and WHEREAS,theeligibleprojectconsistsofimprovementstoamidblock crossingonGrandStreetatWoodMiddleSchoolandincludesan encouragement/educationcomponent;and WHEREAS,beforeStatefundswillbemadeavailablefortheeligibleproject, theCityofAlamedaandCaltransarerequiredtoenterintoaMasterAgreementto establishtermsandconditionsapplicabletotheCityofAlamedawhenreceiving Statefundsforthedesignatedproject;and NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDbytheCityCounciloftheCityof AlamedathattheProgramSupplementandMasterAgreementsareherebyapproved andtheCityManagerisherebyauthorizedtoexecutesaidAgreementsonbehalfof theCityandtheCityClerkisdirectedtoattesttosame. ****** I,theundersigned,herebycertifythat-theforegoingResolutionwasdulyand regularlyadoptedandpassedbytheCounciloftheCityofAlamedainaregular meetingassembledonthe19th dayofFebruary,2013,bythefollowingvotetowit: AYES:CouncilmembersChen,Oaysog,EzzyAshcraft,Tamand MayorGilmore-5.
